With the growth and development of College of International Education, our institute has set up  SHUPL International Students Union. Union is aimed at contacting with students closely and knowing each other further. In addition, it helps to unite all the students, enrich after-school activities and create a healthy learning environment with the guidance teacher's help. ISU has six departments: academic department, art department, sports department, liaison department, propaganda department and life department.

Presidium:

The student union shall have one chairman, three vice chairmen.

Function introduction:

Presidium: the presidium, a representative of all international students, is responsible for maintaining the normal operation of the International Federation of students to play a role of bridge, each vice chairman is in charge of two departments.

Academic department: according to the different levels of the students' learning level, the academic department is responsible for organizing and planning all kinds of academic activities, cultural knowledge competition and contacting with students outside and inside the campus to carry out academic exchanges.

Art department: it set up the guitar group, dance team, singer team, etc.. It is responsible for organizing and planning art activities.

Sports department : the Ministry of sport aims to promote sports, prosperity campus sports culture. It sets up basketball team, volleyball team, football team, badminton team, table tennis team, etc.. It is responsible for organizing and planning sports events inside and outside the school.

Liaison Department: it is responsible for the communication of international students and enriching international students’ after-school life; responsible for the communication with other secondary colleges’ students union, achieving outsides information dynamic and enhancing cooperation between each college. What’s more, it communicates with ISAC actively, jointly assist other departments to organize and plan activities.

Life department: it is mainly responsible for the management of community dormitory (the construction of dormitory culture, etc.). Then, it helps the new students get familiar with the surrounding environmento f the campus, exchanges work with ISAC and assists new students with admission registration, residence certificate, health examination, visa and other affairs. At last, it assists other departments to organize activities.

Propaganda Department: it sets up international press corps and the Russian translation group. It is mainly responsible for assisting various departments with the propaganda work in relevant activities and providing more professional plans and advice. Besides, it takes charge of the photography and news writing of international student activities. And it participates in the management and operation of SHUPL international students home WeChat public platform. What’s more, it promotes all kinds of information about College of International Education by multilingual advantages and diversified publicity.
